- 2 1/2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 2 large egg yolks, at room temperature
- 1/3 cup white chocolate baking chips
1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha green tea powder, and salt. Set aside.
2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and confectioners’ sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add Egg Yolks: Beat in the egg yolks one at a time until well combined.
4. Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
5. Chill Dough: Cover the dough tightly and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (or overnight).

7. Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies start to turn slightly golden brown.
8. Cool and Enjoy: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
