Pumpkin-shaped Honey Whole Wheat Bread
1. Adapted Recipe ➡️ last photo @bobredmill https://www.bobsredmill.com/blog/recipes/honey-whole-wheat-bread/
2. After the first fermentation, divide the dough into 16 instead of shaping the dough into loaves. Roll each dough piece into a ball.
3. Shaping into pumpkin: Take a long piece of cooking string and wrap each ball of dough 4 times, pivoting 45 degrees with each wrap. String should divide the dough ball into 8 equal pieces. Tie the string at the top and cut off any excess. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
4. Lightly brush the tops of the bread with egg wash. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
6. Cut and remove cooking twine before serving. Enjoy!
Freezing Tips: Individually double wrap the pumpkin buns with plastic wrap and store in the freezer. Simply defrost on the countertop or bread toaster anytime you’re craving a delicious bread.
